Freelancers, agencies, service providers: create an invoice in a few clicks or through the API, email it, and let your customer pay it by mobile money or card on its payment page. Wajub computes VAT, tracks payments and chases late ones.

Why Wajub Invoicing

From invoice to payment, with no re-keying.

The invoice and the collection live in one place: every payment updates the invoice automatically.

  1. Payable in one click

Every sent invoice has its payment page. Your customer pays by mobile money or card, without creating an account.

  2. VAT computed for you

Tax rate and discount per line: subtotals, taxes and total are recalculated on every change.

  3. Instalments and milestones

Split an invoice into instalments: your customer pays each one in turn, and the invoice moves to partially paid.

  4. Automatic reminders

Sent from the Dashboard with a due date, the invoice is chased by email on the day, then at 3, 7 and 14 days late.

  5. Cash and transfers too

A payment received offline is recorded in one call, and the remaining balance updates.

  6. In your colours

The invoice page uses your checkout's logo, colour and corner radius, and opens on your own domain once it is verified.

Coverage

68 payment channels in 23 countries.

The invoice's pay button opens the same payment page as Checkout: your customer finds the mobile money operators open in their country. An invoice split into instalments is paid the same way, one instalment at a time.

Tracking

You always know where each invoice stands.

Draft, sent, viewed, partially paid, paid, overdue: every status shows in the Dashboard, and a payment or a change made through the API is signalled to your system by webhook.

  • Automatic numbering with your own prefix, like INV-2026-0001.
  • Search by number, customer or email, and filter by status, customer and date.
  • Reminders stop on their own as soon as the invoice is paid.

Every invoice as a PDF, the whole list as an export.

You download an invoice as a PDF from the Dashboard, your customer from their invoice page. The list exports to CSV, Excel, PDF or JSON, with the current search and filters.

  • One currency per invoice, chosen when you create it.
  • Duplicate an invoice to issue it again, or cancel it until it is fully paid.
  • Tick several invoices to send, cancel or delete them together.

For developers

Invoice from your own software.

Create, send and settle invoices through the API: amounts are computed by Wajub, your ERP or app stays in control.

Frequently asked questions

Another question? Talk to sales

How does my customer pay an invoice?
Once sent, the invoice has its public payment page. Your customer opens it and pays by mobile money or card; the amount paid and the status update automatically.
Are reminders automatic?
Yes, for an invoice sent from the Dashboard with a due date: an email on the due date, then at 3, 7 and 14 days late. They stop as soon as the invoice is paid or cancelled. If you issue invoices through the API, your system handles the follow-up.
Can I accept payment in several parts?
Yes: set a schedule or milestones at creation. The payment page offers each instalment in turn. You can also record a partial payment received in cash or by bank transfer.
How many invoices can I issue?
10 invoices in total on Pay as you go, unlimited from Growth. Invoicing runs in production.
Can I create recurring invoices?
You can mark an invoice as recurring and choose its frequency. For now, issue each new cycle yourself: automatic generation of copies is not active yet.
