Fair Usage Policy

Last updated: 5 juin 2026

Wajub provides a shared (multi-tenant) payment platform to thousands of merchants. To ensure the availability, performance and stability of the platform for all its users, this Fair Usage Policy defines the acceptable use limits of the Services.

1. Plan limits

Technical limits vary by plan: API requests/minute: 120 (Pay as you go), 360 (Growth), 720 (Scale), Unlimited (Enterprise). API requests/day: 50,000 / 200,000 / 1,000,000 / Negotiated. Active webhooks: 5 / 25 / Unlimited. Connected providers: 2 (Wajub + 1) / 6 / Unlimited. Team members: 3 / 5 / Unlimited. Simultaneous payment links: 25 active / Unlimited. In the event of exceeding limits, Wajub may notify the merchant, suggest upgrading to a higher plan, temporarily limit features, or charge overage fees.

2. Abusive use

The following are considered abusive and may result in immediate suspension: API flooding (more than 10,000 requests/minute without variation), scraping, card testing (carding), circumventing limits by creating multiple accounts, sandbox abuse (use as a production environment), and non-compliant use. Occasional traffic peaks related to commercial events (Black Friday) are not considered abusive, subject to 48 hours' prior notification.

3. Sandbox

The sandbox environment is exclusively intended for API testing and technical integration, development, technical team training and scenario simulation. It may not be used as a production environment, to process real transactions, or to store real personal data. Only fictitious data must be used. Sandbox data is automatically purged after 90 days of inactivity.

4. Webhooks and notifications

Webhooks benefit from 5 automatic retry attempts over 3 days with exponential backoff. The expected response timeout is 5 seconds maximum. The maximum payload size is 256 KB. The Merchant undertakes to maintain its endpoints accessible and responding with an HTTP 2xx code. An endpoint that fails more than 10 consecutive times is automatically disabled.

5. Sanctions

In the event of a breach of the FUP, Wajub may apply the following sanctions: Level 1 — Email warning (immediate). Level 2 — Temporary feature limitation (24h after unsuccessful warning). Level 3 — Account suspension (immediate in case of serious abuse). Level 4 — Account termination (7 days after unsuccessful suspension).

6. Changes

Wajub reserves the right to modify this FUP at any time to adapt to changes in the platform and its use. Changes are notified to the Merchant by email 30 days before they come into effect.
